My family and I went on a tour of Florence with Laura this past summer and it was fantastic (an incredible value, too). Our “tour” was just what we needed! Laura was great in adapting to our interests but she also made sure to give us the cultural and historical experience we could never have had without her (being that she is a local). For example, we were able to see some amazing local trades and artists that we would never have found on our own– and the wonderful people we met all knew Laura and were happy to open up to us about their livelihoods (with absolutely no pressure to purchase anything– although we naturally did at a couple places).
I would absolutely recommend this experience and suggest that you immerse yourself by sharing your interests with Laura.
